Terraced Hillsborough Garden
The challenge for this garden design was to create a series of interconnected terraces at the upper level of the garden with an elegant transition to the existing swimming pool located ten feet below. The sitting areas were located off the newly remodeled family room, bedroom and kitchen, and each takes advantage of garden views and distant vistas. Two sweeping stairways lead down to the swimming pool terrace, which is defined by a series of curved retaining walls. The overall effect is a seamless flow from the house into the garden spaces. |
